Central Nevada Health District
Overview
End of fiscal year. A grant on the line. Central Nevada Health District’s ask: “We need a commercial that shows how we protect our communities.”
Our answer? Pack the gear, hit the road, and film across five rural Nevada counties (some of which I’d never even been to) to capture the people CNHD serves.
My role
I led the concepting and scriptwriting with a quick turnaround before we embarked on our road trip. On set, I championed the creative direction and worked with our photo/videographer to capture footage that felt both cinematic and welcoming. And when we were back at our desks, I rallied the team to ensure we could hit our condensed timeline (one month start to finish).

I wouldn’t call myself an adrenaline junkie, but give me a ticking clock and a few curveballs, and suddenly it feels like my kind of sport.
What started as a “just make us a video for local theaters” turned into way more:
Two polished commercials (60s and 30s)
A full photo library
A b-roll gallery for future social posts or campaigns
Sometimes, the best questions start with uncertainty. If I’ve learned anything from working at a marketing agency andplaying D&D, it’s that those moments are where I get to come in to say, “Yes, and…”
