SHYENE JOUBERT

A full-time creative ninja, daydreamer, and dog mom on a mission to tell stories that matter and make the process just as good as the final product.

Forever in pursuit of stories worth telling

I’ve dabbled in a lot of interests— photography, art, nutrition — but no matter where I wandered, I always found my way back to storytelling. It’s been my north star since I was 12.

I was that kid with her nose buried in a book, from literary fiction to Japanese manga, setting off on wild adventures, soaking up new cultures, and secretly trying to feel a little less small in a big world.

My mom called me an “old soul,” which is really a polite way of saying I was a very intense middle schooler.

What started as crime-thriller comics starring my pets solving neighborhood mysteries has grown into a full-fledged creative career. In-house or at an agency — in publishing, resume writing, or marketing.

At the heart of it all, I believe stories connect us. Whether they make you laugh, cry, or just feel seen, creative work has the power to bring people together. And I want to be the one helping to spark that connection.
